ABOUT US

My employment background over the last 20 years includes, working with the Metropolitan Police as a Researcher, Investigator, Caseworker and as a specialist operator on the Police National Computer.

I’ve worked as a contractor for the Home Office (Cross-checking and WICU), Tascor (Risk Assessor, responsible for moving Detainees/Asylum seekers from and to secure places) and as a Crime Officer for Hertfordshire Constabulary.

I was also employed at Rainsbrook Secure training centre, as a Custodial Care Officer and as a Community Advisor by The Office for National Statistics for Census 2021.

I best describe myself to be a team player, but can be equally efficient in managing my own workload, using my initiative, integrity and work ethic, along with my transferable skills to a high standard.

I have great self-belief and confidence in my own ability, because I have started from scratch wherever I’ve worked and shown my versatility, by adapting positively to all environments using my personality to overcome challenges and difficulties in the roles I’ve undertaken, to succeed.

I can converse fluently in Gujarati, Urdu and Hindi – which includes having a sound understanding of various dialects and vocabulary.

If given the right opportunity, I’ll be an asset to those who seek to employ me for my services, because of my versatility, experience and record. Along with my capability and willingness to learn with sincerity, I strive to achieve and work alongside my colleagues to progress together.

My aim is to utilise my skills, knowledge, experience and potential to give something back to my community in the form of an advisory, consultancy and/or liaison role, by raising awareness through constructive enlightment about modern issues affecting our communities in their daily lives to help with better understanding and relations between the BAME communities within the greater society we are all part of.

This would be best achieved through my vision of holding open discussions, forums and meetings in groups with professionals or general members of public, along with delivering small-scale projects and initiatives through workshops, encouraging engagement and feedback to help deliver a more refined process of learning and positive outcomes for everyone.
